Temwa Chawinga, Scorchers and Kansas City’s Forward has been named Player of the Month for the month of June in the United States’ Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
Last month, Chawinga netted six goals and provided two assists in four games.
This is her first season with the American club, which is second on the log table and she has already scored 12 goals with six assists.
Last year, Temwa Chawinga captained Scorchers towards their COSAFA Cup victory.
