With the official opening of the 2024 football season fast approaching, teams in the Super League are intensifying efforts to bolster their technical prowess for an impactful year in the sport.
For instance, Lilongwe-based-giants Silver Strikers FC have unveiled their backroom staff under the guidance of newly appointed coach Peter Mponda.
Mponda has selected Emmanuel Chipatala, who assumes the role of Team Manager while Peter Mgangira and Young Chimodzi retain their positions as first and second assistant coaches, respectively.
Taonga Chimodzi remains as the data analyst and Zicco Mkanda takes on the responsibility of striker’s trainer, with Victor Mphande appointed as the goalkeeper’s trainer.

Newly promoted Creck Sporting Club has enlisted McDonald Mtetemera, formerly of Chitipa United, as their head coach, with Joseph Kamwendo serving as his assistant.
At Chitipa United, McNerbert Kadzuwa takes the reins as coach, supported by former Extreme FC Coach, Elvis Kafoteka.

Bangwe All Stars have also made significant changes, appointing Christopher Nyambose as their Head Tactician. Additionally, FOMO, a new entrant to the league, has secured the services of Gilbert Chirwa as their coach.
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have not been left out of the recent shake-up, naming Nsazurwimo Ramadan
as their head coach and former Malawi National Football Team Coach, Meke Mwase assisting him.
The 2024 football season is scheduled to kick off on March 30,2024 with the charity shield.
