Seed Co commits K10 million to Presidential Charity Golf initiative

Seed manufacturer SEED Co has contributed K10 million to this year’s Presidential Charity Golf initiative, which is set to take place on Friday and Saturday in Blantyre.

Presenting the cheque to the Initiative’s fundraising Committee, Seed Co Sales and Marketing Manager, Dennis Mdzalimbo said the company realises how significant the initiative has been since its inception in 2022.

“Our collaboration with the presidential Charity Golf initiative exemplifies our devotion to the country’s progress and aligns perfectly with our purpose,” said Mdzalimbo.

Chairperson for the Presidential Charity Golf initiative Fundraising Committee, Boyd Luwe, hailed the company as a true partner.

“We continue asking for more partners to join the noble cause as we still remain short of meeting the K600 million,” said Luwe.

Limbe Country Club is expected to host the event for the first time with 200 golfers set to participate in the two- day showpiece and the proceeds realised are earmarked to help needy university and college students.
