Minister of Homeland Security Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma has pledged to support Sofia Lanjesi, a 10-year-old girl with albinism, by paying for her education for three years.
Ng’oma made the pledge at a political rally he conducted on Sunday at Fatima ground in Nsanje District.
Ng’oma has since asked Sofia and her parents to travel to Lilongwe where he will give her K1millon for clothes and other necessities.
On development, Ng’oma highlighted that Chakwera is working hard to develop the country.
Meanwhile, Member of Parliament for Nsanje North Constituency, Enock Chizuzu, applauded the government for its efforts to fight hunger in his constituency through the provision of food items.
Chizuzu has further thanked Ng’oma for his humanity and interest to support people with albinism in the country.
