Premier Bet, through its Premier Projects initiative, has installed new plastic flooring at the Blantyre Youth Centre netball court and handed it over to the Blantyre and Districts Netball Committee.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, the company’s VIP Accounts Manager, Jonathan Katunga, said this is part of their efforts to support female netball players.
Chief Executive Officer at the Malawi National Council of Sports, Henry Kamata, who was the guest of honour at the ceremony, hailed the betting firm for the initiative and support towards various sporting projects.
Vitumbiko Gubuduza, interim president of the Netball Association of Malawi, assured that they would ensure the new flooring, which has a 15-year lifespan, is properly maintained to maximise its durability.
