POLICE PLEDGE TIGHT SECURITY IN LIMBE

The New Officer-In-Charge for Limbe Police Station, Edwin Mkhambo, has assured residents and people plying their trade in Limbe and surrounding areas of tight security.

Speaking during an interface with the media, Mkhambo said the safety and security of people and their property remains a priority to the law enforcers.

Mkhambo further said the station is waiting for the installation of three more CCTV cameras and that the introduction of four cameras to monitor and check crime in Limbe CBD last year has already paid dividends.

He has since appealed to well-wishers to support the cause by donating more cameras to combat crime in Limbe.

Mkhambo was Officer-In-Charge for Karonga Police Station and has replaced Gladwell Chipumphula, who is now Deputy Commissioner for the Eastern Region Police.
