Philanthropist hails Lions Club

Philanthropist Thomson Mpinganjira has hailed the Lions Club for its commitment towards improving the livelihood of Malawians.

Speaking at the Multiple District 412 Governors installation dinner in Blantyre on Saturday, Mpinganjira has, among Lions Club pillars of service, pointed out the childhood cancer and sight initiatives as key areas which he said need further outreach.

His family, through Diplomats Car Hire and Ekhaya Group have donated K10 million to the District.

The event has seen Lion Gaefiwe Crunch Kenosi elected DG for Multiple District 412A (Botswana and Zimbabwe) while Lion Linda Goodman is the DG Elect for Multiple District 412B (Malawi and Mozambique) for the lionistic year 2024/25.
