The release of university selection results, which were scheduled for the end of June, has been delayed, according to the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
NCHE said this is due to difficulties applicants encountered when submitting their online applications for public university selection.
According to NCHE Spokesperson, Priscilla Zikapanda, this is the result of the application period being extended by roughly two weeks to give candidates who needed more time to submit their applications.
“When all the steps have been completed, the results will be made public,” Zikapanda promised.
The Council refuted a claim that was making rounds on social media last week that claimed it had released the university selection results.
Zikapanda added, “Those results were fake; let’s wait for credible results when due processes are done.”
