Malawi’s Mwanza border has managed to collect revenue of at least K18 billion in the month of February.
This has been revealed by Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) officials at the border during a media tour.
Making her presentation, station manager Rachel Kaphyela said Mwanza is currently Malawi’s biggest border in terms of both revenue and cargo tonnage.
In a day, the border registers a cargo traffic of over 2100 tons.
