Mthunzi Funeral Services open new centre in Lilongwe

Mthunzi Funeral Services, a subsidiary of Old Mutual Malawi Limited, has opened new funeral service centre in Lilongwe to accommodate the needs of its customers and community with dignity.

Mthunzi General Manager Onismas Karakadzai said the new facility symbolizes their commitment to providing compassionate, respectful, and comprehensive funeral services to the people of Malawi.

“We carter for everyone, whether they are our policyholder or not, providing end-to-end funeral services and ensuring convenience during the most challenging times. This facility is the bedrock of our funeral insurance policy, which we launched in July 2022,” said Karakadzai.

Currently, the facility’s mortuary space has a storage for 22 bodies with the capacity expected to expand to 66.
