Malawi Under 21 Korfball National team claimed a 7-3 win over Zimbabwe Under 21 national team at the Kamuzu Institute for Sports in Lilongwe on Friday afternoon.
The match was part of a week-long Southern Africa Korfball Federation Festival Malawi was hosting for under 21 and 17 national teams, referees and coaches in the region.
Korfball is a Dutch ball sport, played by two teams of eight players with four female players and four male players in each team.
There are no positions in Korfball, as players switch halves after every second goal.
The match was officiated by Theo van Der Linde, International Korfball Federation Africa Development Officer and Coach Instructor from Netherlands.
