Malawi Beach Soccer National Team Coach, Willy Kumilambe, says he is hopeful that the team will do better in the forthcoming African Cup of Nation Beach Soccer qualifier against Burundi.
Malawi Beach Soccer National team is in camp preparing to face Burundi Beach Soccer National Team on 20 July 2024 in Burundi and the return match will be played a week later in Malawi.
” I am impressed with the performance from the boys during the training. The new players that have joined the camp this time are really doing very well and the mixture is better,” Kumilambe said.
Malawi Beach Soccer National Team first participated in AFCON Beach Soccer in 2022 and was paired against Tanzania.
