A total of 262,216 learners are expected to sit the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) examination while 163,950 will take the Junior Certificate of Education exam.
Atleast 184, 978 are set to sit the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) national examination this year.
Executive Director of the Malawi National Examinations Board,Dorothy Nampota, has confirmed this, adding that the PSLCE will start from 22nd to 24th May, JCE from 4th to 13th June while as MSCE will be administered from 2nd to 26th July 2024.
Nampota said all necessary measures have been put in place to prevent examination papers leakage this year.
