In a bid to boost partnership with community radio stations, the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) has donated various equipment to the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).
The donated equipment, comprising professional decoders, dish antennas and signal cables, will enhance the smooth implementation of the partnership.
George Kasakula, Director General of MBC, has hailed MACRA for the gesture, stressing that the move will help in amplifying MBC’s reach.
The development follows the recent agreement between MBC and 24 community radio stations, which enables the broadcasting of MBC-generated content.
