Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) has held its first White Coat Ceremony.
This is a ceremony where the university is inaugurating its newly graduated dietitians who have been registered by the Medical Council of Malawi.
LUANAR Vice Chancellor, Professor Emmanuel Kaunda, said the institution has pioneered dietetics training in Malawi with USAID funding through Tufts University.
Professor Robin Dolman-Macleod from North-West University, South Africa has challenged the newly registered clinical dietetics to work with dedication because their job demands a lot in the provision of quality health care of patients in hospitals.
