Kaonga to be honoured as Sharda expands scholarships for Malawians

The Managing Director of Maranatha Academy, Kaonga, is set to be honoured for outstanding leadership and contribution to academic excellence, as Sharda University rolls out additional scholarship opportunities for Malawian students.

The recognition comes as the two institutions strengthen their partnership with the opening of registration for the 2026–2027 academic year, continuing to create pathways for students to access international higher education.

Under the enhanced programme, students enrolling through the Maranatha–Sharda initiative will receive an additional scholarship on top of the existing 50 percent award, easing the cost of studying abroad.

The launch event will be held on 17 April 2026 in Blantyre bringing together students, parents, and key education stakeholders.
Officials say the partnership reflects a shared commitment to nurturing talent and preparing students for the global stage.
