The Independent Schools Association of Malawi (ISAMA) has commended the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) for releasing the results of the Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) and the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) exams a month away from the commencement of the new school term.
Speaking to MBC Digital, ISAMA’s President, Wyclife Chimwendo said the move will enable parents and guardians prepare properly for the new school term, especially as many students will be advancing to new classes.
“We would like also to express joy that many schools have performed well, this signifies our commitment as independent schools in complementing efforts in provision of quality education in the country,” said Chimwendo.
According to Chimwendo, a number of private schools have performed excpetionally well in the two national examinations.
