Archbishop George Tambala of the Lilongwe Archdiocese has urged Catholic women to entrust their family challenges to God, emphasising that this is key to finding lasting solutions.
Archbishop Tambala, who also serves as President of the Episcopal Conference of Malawi, highlighted the importance of faith in addressing family issues.
He made the remarks at Miracle Technical College in Karonga during a retreat mass to inaugurate the 45th National Annual General Meeting of the Catholic Women Association (CWA) under Karonga Diocese.
This year’s theme is “Nourishing Parenthood: A Joyful Pathway to Happiness and Holiness.”
The meeting, which rotates among the eight dioceses across Malawi, was hosted last year by Mzuzu Diocese.
