Second Vice President for Malawi Congress Party (MCP), Abida Mia has implored Malawians to register in numbers in the voter’s registration exercise which is underway in selected districts for continued development across the country.
Mia who is also parliamentarian for Chikwawa Nkombezi said this in her constituency while donating water equipment to structures of Area Development Committee.
According to her, President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has initiated landmark projects across the country and deserves a second term.
In Phase 3 of the exercise, the Malawi Electoral Commission is targeting eligible voters in Chikwawa, Nsanje, Mwanza, Mangochi Municipality, Mangochi, Lilongwe Rural, Lilongwe City and Mzimba.
Malawians are set to head to the polls next year to elect President, Members of Parliament and Councillors.
