Air Cargo Malawi to use MDF aircraft for cargo transportation

Air Cargo Malawi has partnered the Malawi Defence Force (MDF), signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to utilise MDF aircraft for cargo transportation in the SADC region.

The partnership will enable Air Cargo Malawi to expand its operations, increasing its capacity to transport cargo more efficiently and effectively.

The agreement will enable ACM to transport specialised cargo consignments between Malawi, SADC, COMESA, and East Africa, providing seamless logistics for exporters and importers.

The agreement also demonstrates ACM’s progress in its turnaround strategy, following the successful delivery of medicinal cannabis to Europe through its partnership with Emirates.

“This partnership is a testament to our commitment to providing reliable and efficient air cargo services,” said Felix Tandwe, the Chairman of Air Cargo Malawi.

MDF Commander Valentino Phiri expressed satisfaction with the partnership, stating, “We are pleased to partner with Air Cargo Malawi, demonstrating our commitment to supporting the country’s economic growth and development.”
