DIGC hailed for promoting food sustainability

Lilongwe North legislator, Monica Chang’anamuno, has emphasized that faith organisations are crucial partners of the government when it comes to promoting agricultural development and food sustainability.

Chang’anamuno made the remarks when Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC)  handed over 300 bags of maize flour and 300 bags of fertilizer at Nsalu, Lilongwe.

Chang’anamuno, who is also the Minister of Mining, said the donation is timely since the growing season is around the corner and a lot of farmers will need fertilizer.

Pastor Enenche, who is in the country for the Malawi Healing and Deliverance Crusade, said it is important to give back to the community.

The donation is expected to benefit close to 300 households.
