Former Silver Strikers and Blue Eagles midfielder Dave Moya has died after battling kidney failure for months.
According to his friend Blessings Tembo, who also played alongside him at Silver, Moya took his last breath in the early hours of Thursday.
Tembo described Moya as someone who dedicated his life to football.
Moya, known for his deadly crosses, was a vital member of the Silver team that clinched the TNM Super League title for three consecutive years(2011 to 2013).
He was also part of the Central Bankers’ Reserve team technical panel.
