Minister of Finance Simplex Chithyola Banda is presiding over the signing ceremony of the 2024/25 shareholders’ letters of expectations (what government expects from parastatals and government).
The ceremony also seeks to reflect on the progress registered during the 2023/2024 Fiscal Year.
The occasion is normally organised around the time the Budget meeting of Parliament is underway.
It has brought together Board Chairpersons, Chief Executive Officers, and Director Generals who are seeking to enhance transparency and accountability in the execution of various duties, in line with the mandates of their parastatal organisations.
