Standard Bank Malawi has integrated its Business Online (BOL) platform with mobile money wallets for enhanced digital banking and financial inclusion.
The innovation allows the bank’s corporate customers to make payments directly to TNM Mpamba and Airtel Money from their accounts.
Speaking to MBC Digital, Standard Bank’s Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, Frank Chantaya, emphasised the bank’s commitment to deepening financial inclusion and breaking barriers in accessing financial services.
According to Chantaya, the integrated BOL platform offers improved features such as online payments, beneficiary management, and refund capabilities, making it a fundamental tool for corporate customers to conveniently perform various payments.
He added that it offers an efficient solution for disbursing funds to social cash transfer beneficiaries, allowances, wages, and payments in hard-to-reach areas.
