Malawian and Zambian clergymen have called on Christians to remain vigilant in serving God and proclamation of his word to the world through music.
Reverend Jonathan Zulu of the Zambia Reformed Church Chawama East Congregation said this in Dedza District during a farewell dinner after visiting the district’s Nkhoma Synod churches.
Zulu described his visit to Malawi as vital in trengthening members’ faith in God.
“We came to Malawi as part of interaction, sharing words of God and strengthening the skills of our choirs. You know Malawi and Zambia are one, so we need to work together,” he said.
Dedza Church of Central Africa Presbyterian’s Reverend Livingstone Sitima said for the past month, the church’s choir was in Zambia to appreciate singing talent.
The District’s Council Director of Planning and Development, McPherson Mwakhwawa, commended the exchange visits and said churches and the government are partners in development.
