MACRA SET TO HOLD WOMEN IN CYBER AFRICA CONFERENCE

The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) says is it set to hold the Women in Cyber Africa Conference slated from 1st to 4th August 2023 at the Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.

MACRA Director General Daud Suleman: Malawi to benefit

MACRA Director General Daud Suleman says Malawi stands to benefit from the conference which will be held in line with the Doha Programme of Action.

“We want to break the stereotype in technology because very few women are taking part in technology. Therefore, the conference will expose and highlight to the world that girls are capable,” Said Suleman.

Over 400 delegates from African countries including USA will attend the conference which will be held under the theme ‘Bridging the Gender Gap and Breaking the Glass Ceiling’.
