Kwera Fund bridges digital gap in public universities

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has hailed KWERA Fund for bridging the digital divide in public universities.

Chief Education Officer in the ministry of education  responsible for Higher Education Jane Banda was speaking at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources ( LUANAR) during the handover of  20 desktop computers to LUANAR  and 191 laptops to students who are under KWERA Fund sponsorship.

Chimwemwe Kamwendo, Chief Operating Officer for KWERA Fund said they sourced the donation from Denmark and pledged continued support to needy students.

Kwera finances over 1,000 students in public universities and promotes their employability and entrepreneurship skills through skills building program.
