FIFA President Gianni Infantino has offered his condolences to madam Mary Chilima, wife to the Vice President, late Dr Saulos Chilima, at their Area 12 residence in Lilongwe this afternoon.
Infantino arrived in Malawi on Tuesday and he was scheduled to meet late Dr Chilima as well as inspect other footballing projects in Malawi.
Upon arrival at Area 12, the FIFA leader presented a Jersey 9 to Madam Chilima, which had been meant for her late husband, and he was accompanied by Fleetwood Haiya, President of the Football Association of Malawi.
Earlier, Infantino made a visit to the State House to meet President Dr Lazarus Chaklwera.
