FDH Bank has increased sponsorship for its football cup from K120 million to K150 million.
The announcement has been made by the bank’s Senior Marketing Manager, Ronald Chimchere, during the unveiling ceremony of the 2024 season in Blantyre.
The bank, in conjunction with the Football Association of Malawi, has also rewarded outstanding players and journalists in the 2023 season.
Patrick Mwaungulu of FCB Nyasa Big Bullets was named player of the tournament while his teammate Hassan Kajoke scooped the golden boot award.
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers goalkeeper William Thole bagged the goalkeeper of the tournament award as Zahaya Malitano of Santhe Admarc was named discovery of the tournament.
