President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has been officially received in audience in China by the country’s Vice President Han Zheng.
In his remarks at the meeting, President Chakwera hailed China for ensuring relations with Malawi continue to grow.
Dr Chakwera expressed hope that the summit of the forum on China-Africa Cooperation will further help cement relations between the two countries.
In his remarks, Chinese Vice President Zheng said it was pleasing that President Chakwera was back in China after attending a successful economic and trade expo last year.
