President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has cheered patients in different wards at Chilembwe Hospital in Phalombe District.
Apart from giving the patients various items, Dr Chakwera has also donated 400 bags of maize and packs of fish to the hospital.
Minister of Health, Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda, has since commended the Malawi leader for the donation, pointing out that the facility uses 25 bags of maize in a month.
Later Dr Chakwera is also expected to launch the 2023/24 National Tree Planting Season and thereafter, he will install Senior Chief Kaduya to Paramount Chief.
