President Dr Lazarus Chakwera will this morning officially launch Ministry of Lands’ Land Information Management System (LIMS) and Ministry of Trade’s Malawi Business Registration System (MBRS) in Lilongwe.
Currently, all is set for the launch of the two systems at the Bingu International Convention Centre.
LIMS seeks to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and accountability in the provision of land services to the general public in Malawi.
Using the online portal one can perform various land-related transactions including registry on the LIMS Portal whereas on MBRS, one can register a business entity with much convenience including updating Information, accessing certifications and any further inquiries digitally.
The two systems have been developed with financing from Agriculture Commercialisation Project and other partners.
