Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) has renewed three licences to Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL), permitting network operation, internet and application services.
MACRA Chairperson, Bridget Chibwana, said MTL has over the years provided quality services to consumers, saying this development will enhance digital technology.
Speaking after receiving the licenses, MTL Chief Executive Officer, Harry Gombachika, said there is a need to create a new MTL which will embrace the aspirations of the youth to move the company forward.
