Think Pink Malawi calls for increased cancer awareness

Think Pink Malawi has stressed the importance of intensified cancer awareness efforts in rural areas to facilitate early detection and treatment.
Co-Founder of Think Pink Malawi, Eleanor Nkosi, was speaking in Lilongwe at Kabudula Community during breast and cervical cancer awareness sessions.
Nkosi noted knowledge-gap regarding cancer conversations in rural areas and emphasised the need for targeted awareness campaigns.
A Community Health Nurse Midwife Technician at Kabudula Community Hospital, Alice Munthali, stressed the importance of scaling up awareness campaigns to provide women with comprehensive information on breast and cervical cancer.
Apart from the awareness sessions,Think Pink Malawi in partnership with Max Foundation honored five exceptional cancer nurses for their tireless efforts.
