The Presidential Charity Golf Tournament has received a K10 million boost from Old Mutual ahead of the fundraising event set for this Friday and Saturday at Limbe Country Club in Blantyre.
Speaking during Old Mutual’s cheque presentation ceremony, Trustee for the initiative, Sophie Mlumbe, hailed Old Mutual for the support, saying it will help some students stay in school.
She also called for additional contributions to help the initiative reach its K600 million goal.
Old Mutual’s Group Chief Finance Officer, Vera Zulu said they are passionate about empowering young people through education hence the sponsorship.By Evelece Ching’ambe
