A total of 262,216 are expected to sit for the 2024 Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) examinations this year.
Officials from the Malawi National Examinations Board, who have commenced administering the examinations today, have confirmed the development.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Education, Nancy Mdooko, announced that the ministry has put in place measures to ensure the smooth conduct of national examinations across the country.
