NRB targets over 30,000 registrations in Rumphi

National Registration Bureau (NRB) says it is expecting to register 30,971 first time national ID applicants in the ongoing National Identity Card (ID) Outreach and Community Death Registration exercise in Rumphi.

Since registration started Monday last week, about 7,000 ID applicants and 11 community deaths have been registered.

District Commissioner for Rumphi, Emmanuel Bulukutu expressed optimism about meeting the set targets due to a positive turnout.

The exercise is expected to conclude on April 29,2024.
