Maranatha Private Academy has done it again after emerging overall best in the 2022/23 National Maths-English Competition by Medi-Chanco.
In particular, Maranatha Girls Student Esther Chavula and Maranatha Boys Student Saviour Nyirenda emerged as overall top two students in the competition.
According to the competition’s Chairperson, Flywell Banda, the top students will be awarded monetary awards in three categories: Top Five Students in English Language, Top Five Students in Mathematics and Overall Best 10 Students in Mathematics and English Language.
A total of K1,995,000 will be distributed in the awards.
Schools that participated in the competition include Bwaila Secondary School, Bambino High School and Kamuzu Academy.
Managing Director for Maranatha Schools Enerst Kaonga said his institution believes in instilling discipline in the students so that they achieve academic excellence.
