First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera has arrived at the residence of late Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima in Area 43 in Lilongwe.
Madam Chakwera in company of government and party officials has come to condole with the believed family.
At noon President Dr Lazarus Chakwera broke the tragic news to the nation of the Vice President’s death.
The clergy led by Archbishop George Tambala of Lilongwe Diocese are also in attendance.
