The Federation of Disability Organization in Malawi (FEDOMA) has clocked 25 years of existence.
The celebrations took place in Lilongwe on the sidelines of the Disability Rights Fund (DFR) grantee workshop.
Speaking during the celebrations, the Executive Director of FEDOMA Simon Munde said the past 25 years have been a mixed bag of successes and challenges.
However, he expressed optimism for more positive strives in the future.
Several organisations that work with or represent people with disabilities were present and tasted the cake that was cut and shared among participants during the celebrations at BICC last night.
