Speaker of Parliament, Catherine Gotani Hara, has announced that the leader of DPP in the House who is also Thyolo Thava lawmaker, Mary Navicha, will give her response on the SONA on Thursday once she returns to the House.
The Speaker made the announcement after Mulanje Central lawmaker, Kondwani Nankhumwa, finished delivering his response in the House as Leader of Opposition.
Navicha and other DPP members were barred from the chamber after disobeying the Speaker yesterday.
The Speaker evoked Standing Order 105 to give the legislators marching orders to come back in the House on Thursday.
A handful of DPP members of Parliament, especially those aligned with Nankhumwa,
are available in the House.
