To make this year’s Umutheto Cultural Festival colourful, Davina Furnishers have donated a sofa set worth K2.5 million to His Majesty Inkosi Ya Makhosi M’mbelwa V of the Ngonis of Mzimba.
Speaking during the handover ceremony in Lilongwe, the company’s Managing Director, Davis Kasenza, said they saw it fit to take part in the Umutheto Cultural Festival by supporting the event with the luxurious sofa set.
Inkosi Ya Makhosi M’mbelwa V expressed gratitude for the donation, which he said will be very useful during the event as many visitors across Africa are expected to attend.
This year’s Umthetho Cultural Festival is scheduled to take place from August 1 to August 3, 2024 where 50 royal family members of the Zulu Nation, led by His Majesty King MisuZulu Sinqobile KaZwelithini, will be in attendance.
