DAPP applauded for championing development programmes

Non-Governmental Organisations Regulatory Authority (NGORA) has commended the Development Aid From People to People (DAPP) for championing development projects that align with Malawi’s development goals.

In a review of DAPP’s 2023 performance report, NGORA Manager, Dayson Nkhoma expressed admiration for the organisation’s contribution across health, education, community development, administration, and human resources.

Deputy Director of Gender in the Ministry of Gender, Ronald Edward Phiri said government is formulating a policy to guide early childhood development and will soon table a bill in parliament to support DAPP’s efforts.

Moses Chibwana, the Country Director for DAPP Malawi, said the organisation has trained close to 203 primary school teachers and about 550 youths in vocational training over the past year.
