Communities urged to advocate for climate justice

Chikulamayembe Women Forum has urged women and the youth to actively participate in raising awareness and fighting the climate change crisis for a better Malawi.

Director of the Forum, Tiwonge Gondwe, made the call during a road show the organisation held in the district to raise awareness on climate justice.

“There is a need for young people and women to stand up and advocate for climate justice and not climate debt,” Gondwe said.

The event was held under the theme “make the finance reality to climate justice now” with support from Action Aid Malawi.
