Leader of Pentecostal Synagogue Church, Milward Nyangulu, has called on fellow ministers of the Church to reach out to people and help meet their physical and spiritual needs.
Nyangulu made the remarks at Walilanji in Mchinji District when he distributed maize flour to more than 2000 families that have been affected by hunger.
He also advised the church to desist from spreading messages of hate and castigation.
Member of Parliament for the area, Agness Mkusa Nkhoma, applauded the gesture by Nyangulu, saying he has supported the government’s effort in addressing the hunger situation.
Over 2000 families benefitted from the donation which, according to the Church’s treasurer, is worth K39 million.
