The body of the Vice President, late Dr Saulos Chilima, has arrived at his official residence in Area 12, Lilongwe.
The body was earlier taken to St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish where a requiem mass was held in his honour.
Malawi Defence Force pall bearers are the ones who have carried the casket bearing the body of the late Vice President.
Followers of various political parties, government officials, traditional leaders and the clergy have gathered for a vigil at Area 12 official residence.
