Smallholder Farmers Fertiliser Revolving Fund of Malawi (SFFRFM) says it will ensure farmers receive subsidised farm inputs in time for the 2026/2027 growing season.
SFFRFM Board Chairperson Professor Moses Kwapata gave the assurance after the Board of Trustees toured of the SFFRFM Chirimba Depot in Blantyre on Friday, where trustees welcomed the arrival of fertiliser supplies.

Kwapata said the Fund is preparing for the programme by training and deploying sales clerks to markets across the country.
The deployment is prioritising hard-to-reach areas and districts expected to receive early rainfall.
The Board’s visit to the depot formed part of its oversight of preparations for the subsidy programme and the distribution of farm inputs ahead of the growing season.
