World Vision Malawi has donated medical equipment worth over K100 million to Nation Publications Limited Mother’s Fun Run Initiative to enhance maternal and child health quality in public hospitals.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, World Vision Malawi National Director, Francis Dube highlighted the organisation’s commitment towards improving the lives of marginalised communities, particularly children and mothers.
Nation Publications Limited Chief Executive Officer, Mbumba Banda hailed World Vision for the support, pointing out that this will facilitate safe deliveries and maintain mothers’ and babies’ health.
The equipment, which will be channelled to 16 health centres and two rural hospitals, includes catheters, cannulas, ultrasound gel, and furniture.
