TNM is expected to unveil an improved package for the Super League today, a development eagerly awaited for by football fans.
With the current sponsorship standing at K150 million annually, there is a higher chance that the sponsorship could go as high as K500 million.
Recently, Gilbert Mitawa, President of the Super League of Malawi (SULOM), disclosed that the league is valued at K1.3 billion.
Currently, league champions pocket K40 million but they could soon be getting K100 million, translating to 150 percent increase.
The prize money for the runners-up is also set to rise to K40 million from K15 million while the third-placed team’s new prize money is K15 million.
