Foreign Affairs Minister Nancy Tembo is representing President Dr Lazarus Chakwera at the late Abdul Lapukeni’s funeral ceremony in Mangochi this afternoon.
Tembo is accompanied by Energy Minister, Ibrahim Matola and Deputy Health Minister Halima Daudi.
Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Aisha Mambo, Presidential Advisor of Religious Affairs Hashim Abbas, and Democratic Progressive Party Vice President for the Eastern Region, Bright Msaka are also in attendance.
The body of the late Lapukeni, who was Deputy Chief of Protocol in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be laid to rest this afternoon at his home village, Chapola, Traditional Authority Chimwala in Mangochi District.
